I don't do this very often...

... but I'm going to post a link to the first chapter of something I may or may not ever complete.  It's a new weird/horror story called Fishhead Babies.  The last of my NaNoWriMo writing juices went into it near the end of November.  It's just the first chapter.  If I figure out where I'm going with it, I may pick it up again.

    Now I see why you win so many competitions. I really liked this and although I’m not a great reader of apocalyptic mutations, I found it a fascinating, gripping first chapter that left me feeling disappointed when I realized I'd reached the end.
    Intriguing, slow build-up and a solid character; tough yet vulnerable, with a sense of humour, I like him.

    Verdict? :-) I think you should definately go back to this.
