2012: Looking Back and Looking Forward

2012 didn't quite go how I thought it would.

  1. I'd planned on being published by now.  I'm a little further down the path with Bullets Don't Blink but I need to get my ass back into gear about getting an agent.
  2. I planned on writing three books.  I wrote one and a couple fragments.
  3. On the dating front, things took some very unexpected turns, starting with the very first week of the year, all the way until I met someone very special at the beginning of August.  I'm quite happy with how things ended up.
  4. Aside from the dating, photography is the only thing that exceeded my expectations.  I made a cool 63 bucks.
  5. I also didn't fathom not participating in NaNoWriMo but I'm glad I didn't.  I didn't have an idea I was crazy about and also didn't want to be a crabby hermit when there was relationshipping to be had.
2013 Goals:
  1. Getting back into working out consistently, possibly before work every morning
  2. Writing a novel in a month that doesn't have a NaNoWriMo event
  3. Writing more than one novel
  4. Publishing something somehow
  5. Getting a picture of a fox

  1. Good luck with 2013!! Sounds like 2012 was a year of downs but mostly ups, and that is always a good thing :)

  2. I originally read that as "getting a picture of a fax" and was wondering just how mundane life had gotten over there. Foxes are slightly more interesting than faxes.

  3. Good Luck! I know when you DO get published I will for SURE be purchasing one of your books and I will say - I "knew" him BEFORE he was a famous authour!
