Just some quick updates.
1. I've started a comic book blog.
2. I've sold three photos in the last week.

3. I have seen a fox roaming the neighborhood several times in the past couple days.  I'm hoping to get some good pics in the next few days.

Getting Older

When you're young, you don't put much thought into things being any other way.  You don't think about paying a mortgage, the daily commute, or waking up with the same aches and pains every day.

Yesterday, I finally threw in the towel and bought my first pairs of reading glasses.  I'm not wearing Coke bottle glasses, just 1.25 magnification cheaters.  I'm not precisely sure what made me start playing with the magnifiers at CVS yesterday but I'm glad I did.

My eyes felt better after a couple hours of reading than the normally do.  The print in my books went from regular TV to HD.  They seem to be helping on my computer monitor at work as well.

I guess getting older isn't that bad, aside from paying a mortgage, the daily commute, or waking up with the same aches and pains every day.

The Serpent that crawled into my kitchen

So yesterday evening, I was taking out the trash when I came back in to find a king snake on the kitchen floor.  It was about a foot long.  After shouting "Honey, there's a serpent in the house!" I snapped some photos and swept it outside, where I proceeded to take more pictures of it.
