In news you actually have to read instead of just looking at:
- I caved in and gave my mom the only existing printed copy of my manuscript for Bullets Don't Blink. She found a typo before getting to the second chapter. "Marking lot?"
- I'm just about ready to start the next book on Wednesday. I still need to investigate cruise ships a bit more and write the teaser.
- I thought I had more news than this.

ReplyDeletehahahha, yeah my mum is who I will turn to for finding typos. and she's as much of a grammar Nazi as I am. But sometimes you're too close to your own work to see all the cringeworthy mistakes.

I really love this batch. The fungus close-ups are magical, otherworldly, especially the three with that strange, eldritch light. Certainly candidates for the competition.

Once I go through another edit, I'm handing it off to a friend who's going to read it and give it to his agent.
